Student journalists from across the country were in Toronto last week for Canadian University Press’ 75th annual national conference, which included Saturday evening’s John H. McDonald Journalism Awards.

The awards, which have been given out in this capacity since 2003, are open to student newspapers across the country.

Among the big winners this year, Concordia University’s The Link took home four of the Johnnies’ 14 awards, and a number of honourable mentions as well.
