CablePulse 24 (CP24) was launched on Mar. 30, 1998, by Sun Media and CHUM as an extension of City TV’s newscast. For 10 years it was run by CityTV personalities, and broadcasts of CityPulse would be repeated on CP24. The station delivers nine simultaneous streams of information on local news in the Greater Toronto Area and Southern Ontario, as well as national and international news.
