Microsoft researcher gives insight into future of news

UBC Professor Alfred Hermida offers an insightful blog post around a presentation made by Microsoft's principle researcher Bill Buxton at the Innovate News conference in Toronto on Jan. 30.
He wrote on Reportr.net:
"The CAJ Innovate News conference wrapped up with a different perspective from Bill Buxton, principal researcher for Microsoft. His prevailing philosophy is that everything is best for something
and worst for something else. So it is important to think about when,
what, why and for whom."
Uhmm...the blog post wasn't insightful. It just repeated what Buxton said. Maybe Buxton was insightful. Let's see:
"...the iPad is nothing compared to what is going to come."
Hmm. Quite the crystal ball.
